Why do my symptoms come and go?
One of the most frustrating parts of neurological symptoms is that they often don't stay the same from day to day. One day you may feel almost normal. The next day your dizziness is worse, your anxiety feels higher, your headache comes back, your vision feels off, or you notice more brain fog, tremors, fatigue, or imbalance. That doesn't necessarily mean something new is happening. More often, it means your nervous system's ability to compensate has changed. The underlying dysfunction may be the same, but your brain's ability to manage it can vary depending on what is happening in your body and your environment.
